Weekend Visit

We had a nice visit this past weekend . It just was not long enough. Our son came from Va. to go with us up to our daughters home. He was buying a car from his cousin. He brought his 2 youngest kids with him.
We left Friday after Denny got done working. It was a nice road trip.

On Saturday we went to visit Denny's parents and had a nice visit but it was short. They like to play cards so we played a game and then headed back to our daughters. We had the rest of the evening with our daughters family.

Then our son's oldest 2 children were in a play at their church in Va. on Sunday evening. So Sunday we got around and made a trip to Va. to see the kids in the play which was very nice. Then we headed back to the RV so Denny could go to work Monday morning. It was hectic but a nice weekend.

BUSY BUSY BUSY

Well for those of you who have been by this way before... you can see I've been busy. Giving my blog a new face lift! Dusting ...Webbing and painting.A new picture. It's been fun making new changes but I'm getting sleepy and tomorrow is a new day.....So we will see what tomorrow brings. Blessings to you.

It's been to long!!!

aahhchoo!!! So sorry it's been so long since I've been in here that the dust has sure accumulated. I can hardly see with all the cobwebs. Please forgive me while I take some time to clean up and get back in the swing of things!! I hope that I will try to keep up with my posting this time. I'm not sure if I have anything much to say but I will give it a try.

Well there has been lots that has happened since I've been here but I am not going to go back to try to remember it all so I will just pick up from here and maybe add bits and pieces of some things from the past.

Just to let you know that we are in Carlisle,Pa. Denny is working here on the turnpike. We will probably be here for this year. We are at a nice campground that is not far from Harrisburg and about 40 miles from Gettysburg. I am looking forward to going there. Sights and Sounds is about 60 miles from here. Thats a favorite of mine. So maybe we will get there too!

We are hoping to go up to visit the kids and Denny's parents this weekend. We are about 3hrs from them. Then my Va. kids we are about an 1 1/2 hrs from them so we may get to see them a little more often. Who knows maybe the gang will come see us. That would be great!

It has been 3 1/2 years since we have lived in our RV. We still are enjoying it, just wish we could do a little more traveling in the summer months but I guess that will come soon enough.

Well I will close for now as there is much dusting and webbing to do but I will try to return soon.

As I see myself getting older I see I am not on top of things as I used to be. (LOL)
